Sphene, diamond and sapphire cocktail ring set in yellow gold
Material, colour and light converge in this one-of-a-kind ring, where the natural depth of ebony contrasts with the extraordinary brilliance of two substantial sphene gemstones.
Renowned for its exceptional dispersion of light, greater than that of diamond, sphene, also known as titanite, displays intense flashes of colour that appear to transform with movement. Its distinctive yellow-green tones are further enhanced through a dialogue with diamonds and sapphires, creating a composition rich in nuance, brilliance and depth.
The two sphenes take centre stage within a sculptural structure of yellow gold and ebony. Contrasting surfaces and volumes surround the gemstones in an asymmetric composition, where the organic texture of the wood is deliberately juxtaposed with the precision of the setting and the intensity of the precious stones.
Entirely handcrafted at the Rosior atelier in Portugal, this ring also marks the exploration of a new gemstone within Rosior’s creative vocabulary. Conceived as a collectible object, it brings together unusual materials, experimentation and High Jewellery craftsmanship in an unrepeatable creation.
